DEADLINE FOR LOVE

He’s either her savior or her downfall. Or both.

Journalist Bella Carter is used to hunting down a story — but when a series of ominous poems find their way onto her doorstep, she starts to feel like prey. Not that her best friend, Amara, will let anything cancel the double date she’s forced Bella to accept. Sigh.

But while Nathan Blake is charming and attentive, Bella finds herself more interested in the woman at the next table. Why is she crying alone? And why does she look…familiar?

When a gruesome triple murder is laid out in the park like an art installation, Bella’s mystery poet is suddenly a real and terrifying threat. Concerned for her safety, Nathan becomes more than good company — his intoxicating embrace offers a thrilling escape route from a killer.

For a moment, it seems to work. Until life proves what Bella’s always known: opening your heart to love is the most dangerous act of all.

A CONTRACT WITH LOVE (Book 2)

The Devil is in the detail...

Newly married Evangeline More can’t catch a break. First of all, there’s a man lying stabbed in her garden. Secondly, her father is in custody for a crime he didn’t commit. And finally, her new husband — the glowering, gorgeous Shane Black — is still waiting to give her the wedding night of her dreams.

As the More family business prepares to settle a major deal, Evangeline finds herself in the CEO’s seat in place of her father. But when the accountant finds a seven-figure discrepancy in the books, the evidence points uncomfortably close to home.

Determined to bring down whoever framed her father, Evangeline hires a PI to investigate the missing funds. But the More’s nemesis is more protected than she had bargained for — and exposing them means exposing truths that even Evangeline is afraid to face...

A CONTRACT OF LOVE (Book 1)

Marriage can be a prison or an escape route. For me, it just might be both.

Evangeline More is not about to get married. Since turning twenty-one, she’s starting to feel like more of a bargaining chip than a daughter — and being betrothed to her childhood nemesis, Damon Johnson, is just one step too far.

When Evangeline turns up to the date arranged by their fathers, she’s ready to send him packing as fast as possible. But to her surprise, she finds another man sitting in Damon’s chair; a man who’s also known her since childhood. A man who is offering her a way out.

Shane Black may be taller and more tattooed than the last time they met, but his piercing eyes are still filled with care — and they still make Evangeline’s heart flutter. When her father is accused of murder, Shane is the only person she can trust. But as Evangeline starts investigating the circumstances of her father’s arrest, she’s forced to delve into parts of her past she had long since ceased to question.

Struggling to cling to her life, her independence, and her father’s business, Evangeline is determined to see justice served. Problem is, someone is very intent on making sure that never happens...

Can Jenny overcome her past to defeat her tormentors and secure her future life?
Or is she about to become the psychopath’s next victim?

Confusion

What the hell were they thinking?!

So, my naïve parents thought it would be a great idea to move to Portland with aunt Maddy. Fresh start … blank page … new adventures and all that.
That’s why we’re here. And whose are those two cute puppies, by the way?

Anyway, what my loving parents didn’t stop to think about was the reality of living in Portland. OMG. It is like a war zone! Neighbours from hell … annoying students … crazy teachers … an intimidating school blog that bullies the students … a park that is cursed (yes, cursed!) and a really hot bad boy.

I know! Could it get any more cliché?
Well... yes, it could. Believe me.

By the way, I’m Amy White, and as you might have guessed, I am NOT happy about leaving my home, my friends and my life for this one.

Fresh start … blank page … new adventures … my ass!
